Introducing Latitude, a new Providence range created for homeowners who want relaxed texture, understated colour and dependable everyday performance. Its chunky heathered surface adds depth without dominating a room, making it an easy foundation for contemporary Australian interiors.
A refined take on textured loop pile
Latitude is a 40oz level heather loop pile with natural tonal variation. The 9mm approximate pile height creates a tactile, grounded finish that works with minimalist, coastal, contemporary and classic schemes. It brings visual interest through texture rather than pattern, helping rooms feel considered while remaining easy to furnish.
Built for busy modern homes
Made from 100% solution dyed nylon, Latitude is designed for durability, stain resistance and straightforward maintenance. Its 1/4 gauge construction, 384 tufts per 10cm2 and residential extra-heavy-duty grading, including stairs, make it suitable for hardworking parts of the home as well as quieter rooms. The range is 3.66m wide and uses woven polypropylene primary backing with woven jute secondary backing.
Six versatile Latitude colours
The palette moves from light, warm neutrals to deeper greys: True East, Bearing, Meridian, Stillpoint, Parallel and Cross Current. Because carpet colour changes with daylight, artificial lighting and surrounding finishes, use our guide to choosing cream and neutral carpet colours and test samples in every room being considered.
Where does Latitude work best?
Latitude is well suited to family living areas, hallways, stairs and bedrooms where homeowners want a structured, textural finish. If softness is the main priority, compare it with Zodiac twist pile. The guide to loop pile versus twist pile carpet explains the difference without treating either style as a universal winner.
